WELCOME!!
WHAT IS MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and is an international organization that exists to encourage, equip, and help women become the best moms that they can be! Women who are pregnant or have young children (birth through kindergarten) are all invited to join MOPS.
MOPS provides an opportunity to meet other moms and make the journey of motherhood together. We share our experiences, learn from one another, and support each other. MOPS meetings are a wonderful place to build friendships and have fun with other moms. In other words, it's a playdate for moms!
At each of our meetings, moms enjoy a chance to socialize with other moms over brunch and a hot cup of coffee.
We have a short time for announcements, followed by either a speaker or a creative activity, plus a small group discussion that allows you to get to know other moms more closely.
Childcare during all meetings is provided through the MOPPETS program. We provide a fun, nurturing environment for your kids to play and learn while you take a well-deserved break!
WHEN & WHERE DO WE MEET?
Pontiac MOPS meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of every month starting in September 2010 through May 2011 from 9am until 11am at Pontiac First United Methodist Church, located at 219 N. Chicago St.
We'll take new members anytime throughout the MOPS season.
